Webley Fosbery Automatic Revolver 1900

This antique revolver was produced by Webley & Scott of Birmingham from 1899 to 1939. The Webley Fosbery Automatic was designed by the English officer G. Vincent Fosbery. This revolver wasn’t designated as an official service weapon of the British Army, because its complicated construction, but many officers paid for their own Webley-Fosberys. This great gun was used until after the First World War .

The antique revolver of repeating-action is based on the recoil energy of the fired cartridge. When fire the first shot, the hammer had to be cocked manually into the single-action position. After the shot was fired the barrel and cylinder were pushed back 20 mm. This load the hammer again and rotated the cylinder by 1/12 turn. The barrel and cylinder had moved-back far enough, a catch spring pushed the barrel and the cylinder forwards again, while the cylinder rotated through another 1/12 turn. Next cylinder chamber was in front of the barrel. The repeating-action fire the last five shots carried out automatically caused by the recoil energy. The cylinder stop that locks, and the cylinder has been housed in the upper bridge. The stud for the repeating action is located in the frame below the cylinder.

MiG-29

The MiG-29 was designed as a "progressive" model replacement for the air-superiority variants of the MiG-23 Flogger, namely the Flogger G & K models and the remaining MiG-21 bis Fishbed L/N clear air mass fighters. The design effort was initiated in secret during 1969, when the Soviet Air Force announced to the General Staff its formal "statement of requirements" for a new more powerful fighter, one that would challenge the best seen coming off the US production lines after the F-4 Phantom. The Mikoyan Bureau engineers then wrote a "Technical Assessment" specifying general performance parameters that could be achieved. Today the MiG-29 is marketed as a "superfighter", providing a state of the art machine with modern armament, superb aerodynamics, easy operations, and high reliability.

By the end of 1994, MAPO finally admitted that their advanced development program, that followed on after the basic MiG-29"B" was upgraded with the MiG-29"S" series kits ("SD", "SE", and "SM" versions) was slowly continuing in the form of their much improved MiG-29"M" and its potential export counterpart MiG-29"ME". The "M" itself evolved from the naval counterpart, the MiG-29"K", which had been canceled after loosing to the Sukhoi design. The main difference in the "SE" and "SD" versions is a new internal active jammer developed for the Naval "K". The "SM" is a further modified "SE" with a new radar featuring a synthetic aperture mode and PGM capability. Many features of these variants have been thoroughly tested and will be offered to any export customer in various model upgrade kits or in a new aircraft program. Today, it is expected that the MiG-29"M" development program will be continued under state funded programs.

Custom Masterpiece: TJ’s Custom Gunworks

The original “Stealth 1” is an older one of TJ’s Custom Gunworks exotic handgun creations. The “Stealth 1” is the first in the long line of TJ’s cut down series pistols. For many years it was the smallest 1911 .45ACP ever made. The thumb safety and slide stop have been nearly “flush cut” and then hand checkered to allow operation, surprisingly they are still quite easy to manipulate though. Also incorporated were thin aluminum grips and a “round ball magazine release”. The gun was designed not only as an “art gun” but to leave the flattest print for concealed carry applications. Starting life as a full size government 1911 frame, TJ chopped it up and removed the middle section out of the gun and welded it back together, then proceeded to hand craft stainless finger rings resembling old brass knuckles welding them onto the front strap. Along with the finger rings, there is a bottom base tang welded to help with ring finger support, and a wide mouth magazine well for quick reloads.

Norinco 1911A1 Handguns

The venerable 'forty-five auto' remains the standard by which all other semi-automatic handguns are judged. Although it was originally designed a hundred years ago, the 1911/1911A1 is still the top choice of many handgun experts for dependability and durability under even the most adverse conditions. From the battlefields of two world wars, Korea, Vietnam, and countless other conflicts to the highest levels of international pistol competition, the legendary 1911 remains unsurpassed even after a century of continued handgun development - a fitting testament to the enduring genius of its designer, John Moses Browning.

Norinco's 1911 series handguns enjoy an enviable reputation for durability and reliability, comparing quite favourably with similar offerings from domestic manufacturers which cost two, three, or even four times the price! Though they work great right out of the box, the Norinco 1911s are popular with custom gunsmiths and competitors who recognize the potential of their rugged forged (not cast!) steel construction. We're so certain you'll agree these are the best value in full-sized pistols on the Canadian market that each one is backed by our Ironclad

Sterling is a relatively simple, but wery well made, blowback operated gun. The receiver and the barrel heat shield was made from steel tube, the bolt was machined, with fixed firing pin and four special ribs, designed to gather and remove the dust and fouling from the receiver. The curved magazine is inserted from the left side, spent cases are ejected to the right. The folding butt is made from stamped steel. Silenced version of the Sterling, officially labelled as L34A1, replaced in service the older STEN Mark 6 silenced.

The Sterling SMG deserved vvery high reputation along the troops due to extreme reliability and good accuracy.

artillery piece that is fired from the ground or shipboard in defense against aerial attack. Antiaircraft weapons development began as early as 1910, when the airplane first became an effective weapon. In World War I, field artillery pieces up to about 90 mm (3.5 inches) in calibre were converted to antiaircraft use by mountings that enabled them to fire nearly vertically. Aiming methods were inadequate, however, and in the interwar decades great progress was made in the development of range finders, searchlights, time fuzes, and gunlaying mechanisms to help artillery pieces hit the rapidly moving targets presented by aircraft.
