F-16 Fighter Jet

US made F16 Fighter Jets are one of the best modern war machine in today world. Many countries like Pakistan, Turkey, UAE, etc have this latest war technology.

Mig 29 Fighter Jet

The enterprises participating in manufacturing of the "MiG" brand products have added a glorious page to the history of the Russian and world aviation. A.I. Mikoyan Design Bureau, founded in December, 1939, included into the RAC "MiG", has elaborated about 450 projects of combat aircraft, from which 170 projects are realized, and 94 - were made in series. In total at domestic aircraft building plants there have been manufactured about 45000 aircraft of "MiG" brand, from which 11000 aircraft have been exported. Over 14000 "MiG" fighters have been produced under licence abroad. "MiG" family brand aircraft protected from aggression the skies of more than 40 countries over the world. Among them there are such glorified fighters as MiG-15, MiG-17, MiG-19, MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-25, MiG-29, MiG-31.

Machine Guns

The true machine gun is designed for sustained, long-range firepower. Both the SMG and the assault rifle, while highly capable weapons, have significant limitations. They can both fire at a very high rate (usually well over 600 rounds per minute), but neither is actually intended for anything more than a short burst. Their magazine capacities are generally limited to 20 or 30 rounds, and they might even incorporate a special "three-shot burst" setting. A true machine gun, on the other hand, is a heavier weapon than either the sub-machine gun or the assault rifle, it is often belt-fed, and it is intended to fire hundreds or even thousands of rounds in short order. Early machine guns had huge, water-cooled barrels, and later machine guns had smaller air-cooled barrels. Heat was the predominant problem, since the barrel of a machine gun could become red-hot after sustained use. However, advances in materials science eventually permitted the development of light machine gun barrels which could withstand extremely long periods of sustained fire without a barrel change; in one particular test at Fort Benning, Georgia in 1967, an M60 fired a 164 foot long belt of ammunition in a long, single burst! Sparks shot from the barrel with each of the last few hundred rounds, but it delivered the rounds to the target area and it survived the brutal test without serious damage.

Sniper Rifles

The sniper rifle is obviously designed for extreme long-range accuracy. It is usually a single-fire weapon and there are two types of sniper rifle: standard rifles which are "accurized" (eg. picked out during manufacture and testing for unusually high accuracy and/or modified for accuracy) and specialized weapons which have been designed from the ground up for use in the sniper role. These weapons usually have ballistic characteristics similar to those of assault rifles, and the most accurate models can hit man-sized targets from as much as 800 metres away. It should come as no surprise that sniper rifles are usually equipped with sophisticated targeting devices such as telescopic sights, rangefinders, light-amplification scopes, etc. Some sniper rifles are also capable of fully automatic fire, based on the rationale that if a sniper is detected, he may need to defend himself with more firepower than a single-shot weapon can provide. However, snipers look rather unfavourably upon these dual-purpose weapons. The operating mechanism of an assault rifle is rather different than that of a purpose-built sniper rifle, and automatic fire will tend to throw components out of alignment. Therefore, a dual-purpose weapon sacrifices accuracy in the name of firepower, and since snipers generally work in pairs anyway, this trade-off is unnecessary because the other man will always have a proper support weapon ready.

Assault Rifles

The assault rifle is a handheld long gun which can be either semi-automatic or fully automatic, and which is designed for medium-range firepower. Its long, rifled barrel and solid stock give it superior accuracy when compared to the SMG, the carbine, or the handgun; for example, the C7 (the Canadian designation for the M-16) has a specified effective range of 400-500 metres, although such ranges are probably academic under realistic combat conditions (and it should be noted that on the firing range, their useful range is said to be more like 200 metres).

Carbines

Since SMGs are generally designed to fire low-velocity 9mm or .45" calibre pistol rounds, there are limits to their performance, particularly with respect to armour penetration. If someone requires a weapon with greater effective range or penetration, there is an alternative: the carbine. A carbine is distinguished from an SMG primarily by its use of a rifle cartridge (it is basically a rifle with a shortened barrel), and there can also be differences in operating mechanism. The principal SMG attributes of low cost, good short-range firepower, and midrange accuracy are valuable, but against a target wearing body armour, a carbine provides many of the same attributes while also providing the benefits of the high-velocity rifle cartridge.

Sub-machine Guns

The SMG is a small automatic weapon whose range and accuracy fall somewhere between handguns and assault rifles, thus optimizing it for close-range combat. The accuracy of an SMG is much greater than that of a normal handgun, but it is still limited by its short length and its chattering recoil. If fired with one hand it is basically random, and even if held with both hands, its accuracy is still very limited unless the extendable shoulder stock and sights are used. However, its sheer rate of fire generally makes up for this limitation at close range. The legendary Uzi, for example, can fire more than ten rounds per second but its effective range is only 50-70 metres. However, when the shoulder stock is used, a good SMG can hit targets at more than 150 metres. Some SMGs such as the Heckler & Koch MP5 can be equipped with telescopic sights or even laser "red dot" sights, which are particularly useful for commandos using single-shot mode. In combat, a scope on such a weapon is used not for very long-range sniping but to hit specific "critical targets" at the beginning of an assault, such as enemy officers, men with machine guns, radio operators, etc.

French Swords

Beautiful and ornate, the classic French swords during the Napolean era had straight single edged double blood fullered 37" blade with engravings on the back edge. The four branch brass guard was massive with brass pommel, leather covered grip bound with twisted brass wire. The scabbard was made in all steel with two hanging rings.

Fourteen years after the collapse of the disastrous M1882 universal sword's system, the French government made the design of the M1896 cavalry sword. This straight bladed sword was designed for both heavy and light cavalry. It differed only on the length of the blade: 950mm for the heavy cavalry troopers and 900mm for the light cavalry. The full basket five bars brass hilt had two sidebars symmetrically arranged each side of the knuckle bow. As usual with French regulation swords, an officer's pattern with an embellished hilt was issued simultaneously with the trooper pattern.

Falguière arranged intricate flowing curves and botanical forms in abstract patterns symmetrically arrayed around the guard. On the pommel, an open wreath of acanthus and oak foliates surrounded the initials of the owner of the sword. The grip was made of black buffalo horn.

Chinese Swords

Being the instruments of potential lethality, swords need to be treated with respect and care. Recreated from the swords of the great kings, the Chinese swords represent the glorious art of swordmaking that beautifully illustrates the skills of the swordsmiths of Imperial China.

The Chinese swords are usually adorned with beautiful and exquisite gold and silver inlay on the scabbard that is reminiscent of artistic motifs and art of the Warring States Period. The dao, or other single-edged swords are typical of Chinese art of swordmaking. The gold-gilded motifs of dragons on the fittings rendered in the archaic and ancient style represent the ancient Chinese glory. These stylistic dragon motifs are frequently appear used on the jades and bronze vessels of swords.

The Chinese art of sword making involves sophisticated methods of forging and heat treating predated. Beautiful and functional laminating and folding patterns perfectly blended with elegant shapes and mataerial durability are the focal points of all ancient Chinese swords. The swords are often hand forged and they are laminated and folded with good patterning on the blades.

The basic types of straight bladed swords used in China include:
  • Wu Jian or "Martial Sword" that is fairly long and heavy.
  • Wen Jian or "Scholar's Sword" is substantially lighter and primarily carried for self- defense.

Ancient Swords

The sword is called the "gentleman of all weapons" and have originated mainly from ancient military weapons. During past ages, warriors heavily relied on their swords, thus ensuring the best design for the job. The movement of ancient swords are extremely brisk, agile, graceful and natural in action. These weapon had been widely used throughout the ancient cultures during war and their movements are flexible, as well as variable.

Ancient swords come up with some of the most practical and beautiful styles. All these styles are surviving in museums and private collections that represent effective designs. These ancient swords are finely crafted and elaborately reproduced out of high quality materials and are strong enough to be used, but are normally for display only.

Samurai Swords

The Samurai sword has long been considered the symbol of old Japan and have defined the warrior for thousands of years. It stands for the power, ethics, duty, and self defense of a class of people that have shaped the face of civilization on this planet. The Samurai sword is indeed a beautiful work of art as well as a formidable weapon and the skill, exercise, mental development and sheer pleasure of owning this sword is unique.

The actual process of creating genuine Samurai swords is very important, along with the quality of the steel, which determines the caliber of the blade. Each sword is individually hand forged, heat treated, polished and mounted, therefore no two swords are the same. Each one has individual characteristics that differentiate it from others swords, even it the style is same.

Reviewing Windlass Steelcrafts European Sword

I have always loved the simple aesthetic of a well made European sword.
Of all the many different types of functional swords you can buy online there are probably more variations of these classic swords available than in any other category.
Unfortunately, only a few of them in our price range are actually worth getting.
But of those few, there is one in particular that is both reasonably historically accurate in both overall appearance and handling, and that is the aptly named "European Sword" by Windlass Steelcrafts...

Webley Fosbery Automatic Revolver 1900

This antique revolver was produced by Webley & Scott of Birmingham from 1899 to 1939. The Webley Fosbery Automatic was designed by the English officer G. Vincent Fosbery. This revolver wasn’t designated as an official service weapon of the British Army, because its complicated construction, but many officers paid for their own Webley-Fosberys. This great gun was used until after the First World War .

The antique revolver of repeating-action is based on the recoil energy of the fired cartridge. When fire the first shot, the hammer had to be cocked manually into the single-action position. After the shot was fired the barrel and cylinder were pushed back 20 mm. This load the hammer again and rotated the cylinder by 1/12 turn. The barrel and cylinder had moved-back far enough, a catch spring pushed the barrel and the cylinder forwards again, while the cylinder rotated through another 1/12 turn. Next cylinder chamber was in front of the barrel. The repeating-action fire the last five shots carried out automatically caused by the recoil energy. The cylinder stop that locks, and the cylinder has been housed in the upper bridge. The stud for the repeating action is located in the frame below the cylinder.

MiG-29

The MiG-29 was designed as a "progressive" model replacement for the air-superiority variants of the MiG-23 Flogger, namely the Flogger G & K models and the remaining MiG-21 bis Fishbed L/N clear air mass fighters. The design effort was initiated in secret during 1969, when the Soviet Air Force announced to the General Staff its formal "statement of requirements" for a new more powerful fighter, one that would challenge the best seen coming off the US production lines after the F-4 Phantom. The Mikoyan Bureau engineers then wrote a "Technical Assessment" specifying general performance parameters that could be achieved. Today the MiG-29 is marketed as a "superfighter", providing a state of the art machine with modern armament, superb aerodynamics, easy operations, and high reliability.

By the end of 1994, MAPO finally admitted that their advanced development program, that followed on after the basic MiG-29"B" was upgraded with the MiG-29"S" series kits ("SD", "SE", and "SM" versions) was slowly continuing in the form of their much improved MiG-29"M" and its potential export counterpart MiG-29"ME". The "M" itself evolved from the naval counterpart, the MiG-29"K", which had been canceled after loosing to the Sukhoi design. The main difference in the "SE" and "SD" versions is a new internal active jammer developed for the Naval "K". The "SM" is a further modified "SE" with a new radar featuring a synthetic aperture mode and PGM capability. Many features of these variants have been thoroughly tested and will be offered to any export customer in various model upgrade kits or in a new aircraft program. Today, it is expected that the MiG-29"M" development program will be continued under state funded programs.

Custom Masterpiece: TJ’s Custom Gunworks

The original “Stealth 1” is an older one of TJ’s Custom Gunworks exotic handgun creations. The “Stealth 1” is the first in the long line of TJ’s cut down series pistols. For many years it was the smallest 1911 .45ACP ever made. The thumb safety and slide stop have been nearly “flush cut” and then hand checkered to allow operation, surprisingly they are still quite easy to manipulate though. Also incorporated were thin aluminum grips and a “round ball magazine release”. The gun was designed not only as an “art gun” but to leave the flattest print for concealed carry applications. Starting life as a full size government 1911 frame, TJ chopped it up and removed the middle section out of the gun and welded it back together, then proceeded to hand craft stainless finger rings resembling old brass knuckles welding them onto the front strap. Along with the finger rings, there is a bottom base tang welded to help with ring finger support, and a wide mouth magazine well for quick reloads.

Norinco 1911A1 Handguns

The venerable 'forty-five auto' remains the standard by which all other semi-automatic handguns are judged. Although it was originally designed a hundred years ago, the 1911/1911A1 is still the top choice of many handgun experts for dependability and durability under even the most adverse conditions. From the battlefields of two world wars, Korea, Vietnam, and countless other conflicts to the highest levels of international pistol competition, the legendary 1911 remains unsurpassed even after a century of continued handgun development - a fitting testament to the enduring genius of its designer, John Moses Browning.

Norinco's 1911 series handguns enjoy an enviable reputation for durability and reliability, comparing quite favourably with similar offerings from domestic manufacturers which cost two, three, or even four times the price! Though they work great right out of the box, the Norinco 1911s are popular with custom gunsmiths and competitors who recognize the potential of their rugged forged (not cast!) steel construction. We're so certain you'll agree these are the best value in full-sized pistols on the Canadian market that each one is backed by our Ironclad

Sterling is a relatively simple, but wery well made, blowback operated gun. The receiver and the barrel heat shield was made from steel tube, the bolt was machined, with fixed firing pin and four special ribs, designed to gather and remove the dust and fouling from the receiver. The curved magazine is inserted from the left side, spent cases are ejected to the right. The folding butt is made from stamped steel. Silenced version of the Sterling, officially labelled as L34A1, replaced in service the older STEN Mark 6 silenced.

The Sterling SMG deserved vvery high reputation along the troops due to extreme reliability and good accuracy.

artillery piece that is fired from the ground or shipboard in defense against aerial attack. Antiaircraft weapons development began as early as 1910, when the airplane first became an effective weapon. In World War I, field artillery pieces up to about 90 mm (3.5 inches) in calibre were converted to antiaircraft use by mountings that enabled them to fire nearly vertically. Aiming methods were inadequate, however, and in the interwar decades great progress was made in the development of range finders, searchlights, time fuzes, and gunlaying mechanisms to help artillery pieces hit the rapidly moving targets presented by aircraft.
